The editor-in-chief Jay F. Piccirillo (Washington University School of Medicine). It was previously published under the title Archives of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, and established in 1925 under the title Archives of Otolaryngology.According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 3.295, ranking it 1st out of 41 journals in the category "Otorhinolaryngology".
