The Asian Journal of Surgery is a peer-reviewed journal for original scientific contributions in the field of clinical and experimental surgery. The journal is the official publication of the Asian Surgical Association, the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons, the Asian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, the Asian Vascular Society, the Association of University Surgeons of Asia, the College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine, Malaysia, and the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia. The Asian Journal of Surgery is Asia’s leading journal for the dissemination of the latest surgical advances and developments in the region. Its quality scientific content and broad coverage bring Asia’s finest work in surgery to the international community. An outstanding editorial board of over 40 eminent surgeons represents 11 countries worldwide and many surgical specialties. The papers are categorized into current opinion articles, original articles, case reports, reviews, commentaries, and congress and symposium papers.
